Mexico City Marks Our 25th Anniversary

We toasted to The Rug Company’s 25th anniversary in the ever-vibrant Mexico City. Set in the authentic mid-century Casa Piacere, designed by esteemed architect Francisco Artigas, our friends and industry leaders came together for an intimate three-course lunch. Celebrated with Campari cocktails, guests overlooked the original mosaic-tiled pool from the 1950s.

Rugs designed by our special guests and collaborators, Leslie Chihuly and Nicole Fuller, adorned the property, alongside those by Sir Paul Smith, Alexander McQueen, and Kelly Wearstler.

In attendance were the top interior designers and editors in Mexico, plus Maria Fernánda Terroba who opened The Rug Company’s Mexico City showroom in Spring 2007.

It was a day rightfully bursting with colour, flavour and celebration in the heart of Mexico City.
